Transparent Terms · 100% Client-Side Processing

Terms of Service & Usage.

Welcome to AutoSilenceCut. By accessing or using our website and browser-local audio tools, you agree to these terms. AutoSilenceCut operates on a client-first computing model designed to protect your autonomy and data privacy.

Effective Date: September 4, 2026

1

1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Scope

AutoSilenceCut provides free, browser-local audio and video editing, silence shortening, noise reduction, vocal mastering, and subtitle synchronization tools. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms, our Privacy Policy, and applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the service.

2

2. Client-Side Computing & Data Sovereignty

All audio and video decoding, silence detection, waveform rendering, and file export operations execute strictly inside your local web browser using the HTML5 Web Audio API and WebAssembly. AutoSilenceCut does not upload, inspect, transmit, or store your media files on external servers. You retain sole possession, control, and custody over all media processed through the application.

3

3. Intellectual Property & Export Rights

You retain 100% ownership and all intellectual property rights to your original audio/video recordings and all output assets generated using AutoSilenceCut (including rendered WAV files, edited video timelines, subtitle tracks, Audacity cue markers, and show notes). AutoSilenceCut claims no ownership, copyright, or licensing rights over your user content.

4

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use AutoSilenceCut in accordance with all applicable laws and ethical standards. You may not attempt to reverse engineer malicious exploits, inject malicious scripts into browser memory, disrupt website availability through denial-of-service attacks, or use automated scraping bots to overload web infrastructure.

5

5. Local Hardware & Web Audio Limitations

Because processing takes place entirely within client memory, tool performance depends on your device's available RAM, CPU speed, and browser capabilities. AutoSilenceCut is designed for maximum efficiency, but processing exceptionally large multi-hour recordings or high-sample-rate audio buffers may be subject to browser memory limits beyond our control.

6

6. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

AutoSilenceCut is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While our DSP algorithms are built to professional broadcast standards (ITU-R BS.1770, EBU R128), we do not guarantee that the tool will meet every specific acoustic requirement. In no event shall AutoSilenceCut or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
